What

The content panel is the central section of the context frame where the primary information, features and interactive elements related to the selected entity are displayed.

Why

To provide prominent space for the mid-level information and actions related to the entity in context.

Where

Often the largest, central section of a screen. Can be surrounded by other elements of the context frame, such as a header, info panel & detail panel.

Best Practices

  • Mobile: While this section is often landscape oriented on a desktop view, the ability to convert to portrait orientation for mobile should be considered.
